i have old ones on my old guitar that were really gay and i wont go and explain them...

but my new ones for my new bass are the ones i wanted and other people had them as well. they are the kind that are like circular and you push the top in to lock it. well maybe i didnt install it right but they are all loose and shit and they stick out uberfar from the guitar itself.

so i think im just going to put the regular strap thing back in. i guess ill just have to be more prudent when i handle my instrument :cry: :confused:

Yeah, I've got straplocks on my guitar, and they're fucking huge.

 

they're a different type, though - you need to pull the locks upwards and slide them out. they keep coming loose as well, and when the strap twists it's a right pain the arse to try and get it back to normal.

 

but it's all worth it in the end - i nearly dropped it a few times before I got them. I've got a fragile hollow body guitar which I really don't want to see smashed apart on the floor.

it sucked when they came loose

i guess ill just sell my new ones on ebay or something :idea2:
