How can I alter the size of my photos so they can be used as an Avatar or attachment on the website??

I guess in program like paint,or fireworks.

Well try in paint image-strech skew.

Huh?Open the photo in editing program then go for one of the resizing options.

I recomend to try in paint, it's simple.

I have now opened the photo in "Photo Centre". So how do I now reduced the size from 52K to 29K??

Hmm i dunno since i don't have photo centar.

Try saving it as jpeg maybe.

It's already in jpeg format (52K)

just use some Resize tool, usually, you can input a percentage of an original size, like 70%, or you can adjust width/height separately...Windows has Paint in Program/Accessories, which is the simple one but supporting that..

^^you need not use that more fancy stuff... :) but I love Photo Shop for graphics a lot...
