Million Dollar Baby

Went out with the intention of watching White Noise but it was too long to wait for the showing so we got tickets for Million Dollar Baby instead.

I kind of enjoyed it but its really difficult to say why. Its quite long, and I never thought i would have been able to sit through a film about boxing. I suppose what intrigues me at the beginning was that the main character was a woman who was trying to make it as a boxer and trying to persuade this guy to manage her. The character was really likeable and Morgan Freeman's voiceover gave you info info to keep you interested.

I wouldn't go and see it if you can't watch things like ER though, there are some very realistic fight scenes with some amazing camera work. And hey, I don't really need to hear someone's nose break, would be quite happy being able to tell from the next shot thanks!!

Its also got a very sad second half, which you will need your tissues for.
