Over the summer I found this band Endochine from Austin, Texas, and the first time i heard them (and didn't know who it was) i thought it couldve either been Coldplay or Radiohead, but they just seemed to have a more Americanized harder edge to some guitars. They use the piano a good amount and are incredible at building their songs up progressively, going from quiet to loud (think Amsterdam). They're definitely worth checking out if you like Coldplay (which you do, seeing as how you're on this site). My favorite songs: Secret, A New Beginning, Music To Drive and Cry To (yea the title is...well whatever listen to it) but check em out http://www.endochine.com (feedback please!)
