Victoria
Yes I saw it! Really, really interesting! I'm definitely going to watch the next one. How do you mean, that's your school? Is the monastry attached to a school then? (I missed the beginning  .) And what school is it?
Kapone
the monastry and school are attached and most of the places you saw were the school. its worth school. i was watching it with a couple of the monks. the one who did meditation and the one who talked a lot. it was really akward because he starts talking about how he used to be an alchoholic! the guys who came were cool though. Victoria
That's so cool! I was riveted to the programme - I thought the monks were great people, so gentle and patient and accepting of others. Some people think that monks are weird, but these guys seemed full of fun, very normal, just 'deep'. You board, presumably. Do you like it there? Kapone
Yeah, I board. Its awesome there. Everyone's very nice. The guys are coming back next week to watch the next episode and say hi. I'm glad you liked it.
Jenjie
I think I've seen something similar. Is it a new series?
Victoria
Yeah, the guys are great - I'm fascinated by the way each one of them is going through some kind of metamorphosis while he's there. But that's what it's all about, people learning more about themselves. That's how the monks are able to give more to others. I met a monk from Ampleforth last year - he was really cool too! Victoria
He was introduced to me as Father Michael - there's probably a few of those!
Kapone
yeah, i know a father michael. where was this?
Victoria
It was at a party given by a relative of his, not far from there. How do you know people from Ampleforth? I suppose monks visit other monastries sometimes.
Kapone
Basically Worth, Ampleforth and Downside are all very close-knit sister schools/monastrys. Monks from Worth might spend a year or so in Ampleforth and visa versa. Those are the only other monastries that Worth are with.
Victoria
Ah yes, Downside is not too far from here (Bristol).
