Exactly, the same thing is happening with X&y. People do not necessarily love an album at first listen, or 10th listen even. The 'change' from arobtth is not favoured by some people.

I was wondering the same thing, as I wasn't around on any Coldplay forum when AROBTTH was released...

I was trying to find threads about the last album, but I don't think the board keeps threads that old.
