Why is X&Y the song called that. He never says the words in the song. Amsterdam was called Amsterdam because it was written there. Could he have just called it that to keep the pattern of title tracks going? Does anybody know anything about it?

Chris doesn't always mention the title of songs in the actual song. The Scientist he doesn't...and with clocks he only mentions " closing walls and ticking clocks".

 

In other words, no idea :D lol

..MAYBE HE CALLED THE SONG "X&y" BECAUSE OF THE MEANING OF THE TWO LETTERS...THEY ARE (how can I say it in english,,,) UNKNOWED... INCOGNITS? IN MATHS...
