They keep it a secret

They hide it for sure

And stare at the void

To try and work out

Why earth is annoyed

But the way is blocked

The door is locked.

Winter

 

Winters the worst time of the year

Frost takes a grip he wont let go

Tree’s and plant’s left dying outside

Through a window you can see snow

 

The rain will strike with vengeance

The ice-cold wind will blow and blow

Summers gone away forever

As far as we all know

 

When will winter fade away

How long till jack frost lets go

Bring to life a re-born springtime

Allow new things a chance to grow

 

Winter hasn’t ended yet

The crops are ruined were all upset

Te must be the ice kings mischief

I wouldn’t hazard a bet

 

The second week of spring is hear

Winter wont release its hold

The ice king gets stronger and stronger

Only he would be so bold

 

Winter starts to go away

Late does come the new day

Winter finally dies at last

The sun breaks through in a blast

 

With a new day the sun will rise

Spring arrives with a surprise

And plants outside begin to grow

T’ is a new season don’t you know

Fun times wait to be sure

With the heat you get a flush

The grass is looking really lush

The monster grows, Imbued with a fiery soul
