find a pic off the net and save it to your hard drive no more than 150x150 pixels big. Then go to your profile and at the bottom browse for the pic. Then when youve found it and put it in the address line, press submit and your pic will appear with your posts! :-D

It's better for the server and bandwidth if the picture is uploaded and them you use your profile settings to select it.

 

Remote avatars are allowed... but may not always

yeah doesn't it take up lots of bandwidth from the other site too when you use remote avatars? meh, i'm going to stop rambling on about things i know nothing about now.
