October 4, 200520 yr I have been in the ring with a wwe prospect before. And i can honestly tell you that these guys are clueless. Oh yes they all know how to do the fancy moves. But it is all strengh. There is no technique. The best martial art in the world for Throwing techniques is Jujitsu. As well as Armlocks, leglocks, necklock, elbow locks etcetc. Where do you think the figure four leg lock comes from. Or Kurt Angels ankle lock. Jujitsu. Thats where. Also they have not the faintest idea on how to keep a person down. I can keep a man twice my weight and much stronger then me down. I am only small. But it is all about controling the head and shoulders. Control those and your opponent is not going anywhere. Their suplexes and powerbombs are so pathetic that it just makes me want to laugh. I could make more of an impact with the forward roll then they generate with a suplex. And the powerbomb is too damn easy to get out of. Person grab you like that. Go under and turn it into a submission elbow lock. Simple as. And that is why i only watch televised Jujitsu bouts or UFC. Because televised wrestling sux.

Plus if you did not manage to get out of a powerbomb, say from Kevin Nash, or the Undertaker or the Big Show, I am sure your back would hurt just as much from a 9 or so foot slam to the mat. ;)
October 5, 200520 yr f Yeah, Ultimate Fighting is good, but I will still watch wrestling. :) So what did everyone think of RAW last night, the homecoming episode? I had a Raw party last night and i had so much fun---I was really disapointed at Angle cause he just walked out after miekoz challenged him to sudden death---that sucked--they should have gone for it till there was a winner Also, whats up with HHH, i didnt understand why he was mad at Flair---is it because Flair didnt help him with Bautista in the cage matches or something?

There's been a great deal of talk in recent days that WWE may be pulling Jim Ross off the team and replacing him with an outside announcer. The name being thrown about today was UFC announcer Mike Goldberg, although we haven't confirmed whether he has been offered or has accepted the position. Removing Ross from the announce team, if it happens, would be a bold move and one that would likely anger many long time WWE fans. :o :o
October 7, 200520 yr Use to be the biggest wrestling fan in the 90's, I just thought it got crap just before it changed to WWE. I rarely watch it anymore, only when im in a mates gaff. I still love all the 90's matches, have loads on video. Razor, Bret/Owen Hart, Hulkster, Mach Man, Repo Man, Jake the Snake, LOD, Nasty Boys, Bushwhackers, Rockers, Jerry Lawler, and The Ulitmate Warrior... thats what wrestling means to me. Have all the action figures from that era aswell

October 10, 200520 yr Author Everyone should be watching TNA, it is so much better than the WWE. Saturday's episode had some awesome matches. Way more exciting than the WWE has been in years. Kevin Nash was on, Jeff Jarett, Konan, Billy Gun and the Road Dog Jesse James (of DX fame), Abyss and even the newly signed Dudley Boyz who I don't usually like, but were pretty cool here. Best wrestling action on the boob tube right now. Tune in. :)

Im only small. And very quick. None of those behemoths would be fast enough to catch me...I also know the fine art of paralysis. So even if they did catch me they would not be able to move...I would paralyse them from the spine down. :lol:

October 26, 200520 yr Author Pretty disgraceful what happened Monday night. Colon surgery is not something to make fun of. I don't care if it was a joke or whatever. It was in poor taste. I almost don't want to watch RAW anymore. I only watch it to catch Flair and see if any of the other classic guys might come back. In my opinion TNA is the only ahem 'real' wrestling on the tube anymore. Good thing is TNAs ratings are going up every week. Hopefully they will end up on Monday night and go head to head with RAW. I will definately be watching TNA then. :)

July 20, 200620 yr bump! i was going to do thread about this!! I HATE wrestling and my brother is now addicted to it! i can't see no interest in watching such thing! it's not only because it's all fake, it's also because i think: what's point in watching violence on tv? but i know of course that you can't forbid tv to broadcast it because then you'd have to also forbid lots of violent video games...
