EMI has decided that Coldplay's new single Talk will be released in 3 different versions here in Holland. Each version will have live songs besides the new song. The live songs were recorded in Arnhem, Holland on 7/7/2005. Which live songs will be on the singles, is going to be decided by the Dutch fans. A release date is not known yet.

Why have they changed the version of Talk? :/ I read somewhere that they put at the album the "new" version of this song...

There was a version before, but that got leaked out to the public. They're not TOO different but well.... They kind of are.

 

:/ I remember downloading it the second I saw it out. Oh well. I guess when they found out that Talk got leaked they used an alternate version. Or, perhaps, the leaked Talk was one from the earlier X&Y sessions and wasn't to be used at all.

 

I don't know, maybe someone else knows the scoop better, but that's the basic jist for you.

I think that the leaked version is better, personally. I LOOOOVE the last chorus to Talk the "Well you don't know where you're goin..." part. The fact that the leaked played on that more... Well. It's too bad that didn't go on the album.
