Hey guys iv recently bought a bass guitar and can play most coldplay songs i can play the white shadows bass line but i would like to know what effect guy uses on the recording as off yet i have no effects pedals for my bass but i will be purchasing one soon most likely a zoom 506 bass pedal or something like that as i have the guitar version of this pedal very useful at a reasonable price.From my experience of playing the guitar i would say that the effect that is used is like an overdriven chorus effect or something like that but i can't be sure as i am still relatively inexperienced so any help would be gratefully appreciated.

It's played clean so far as i hear.

he uses a distorsion... but i've heard it only once... god put a smile on live 2003 ;)

 

and i hear no effects on white shadows, on the beginning of the chorus (all that noise...) he plays 2 chords... but i don't get them yet :\

maybe somewhere in G chord?
