I've heard a lot of rap and I want to gain the respect I used to have for rap. but the problem is most lyrics about girlfriends and rims just don't satisfy the average non-thug. At work they've been playing some rap and Eminem's new album just came out tuesday and they've been playing it all this week and a little last week for people to hear. He's really got talent and though half of me doesn't respect this at least his mind is set on more important things. This is just one verse anyway.

 

Sometimes I just feel like my father, I hate to be bothered

With all of this nonsense it's constant

And, "Oh, it's his lyrical content -

- the song 'Guilty Conscience' has gotten such rotten responses"

And all of this controversy circles me

And it seems like the media immediately

Points a finger at me (finger at me)..

So I point one back at 'em, but not the index or pinkie

With the bullshit they pull, cause they full of shit too
