Just wondering what everyone thought about the originality of CP albums. Which one do you think broke the most ground musically?

I don't think that at the point of the release of any of the three Coldplay albums there's been anything really like them out there. Esepecially at the time of Parachutes ...

With hindsight Parachutes was a rather dreay post brit-pop record thats been done and still being done to death today.

 

Arobtth was a stunning album and when i heard Clocks i knew this was going to be one of my favourite bands of all time. Nothing has really come close to matching Coldplays sound, the slower songs yea but the more upbeat and louder ones nah
