Ok im never really that good at interpretating songs but heres my hitch.I think it means that you are being restricted in that all the things you are good at gets forced into doing the one thing which you dont want to do if that makes sense? like if you were an amazing snooker player or something but you work in a chip shop you'll never get the chance to fulfill your dream because you are restricted,because he also says in the song "You wonder if your chance in life will come or if your stuck in square one"

are they bleeeding all your colors into one.. kinda sounds like people taking everything he is and emotions and just melting them away, into one depressed thing. just an idea.. :confused: i always wondered what that meant, but yeah, those lat set of lyrics in square one, i just about LOVE them. sounded like my day today, been happy for a few days, then someone says something to you, and brings you back "to square one"... but im all good now.. haha.
