  1. Doubt - 5/10 :S I didn't like it at all really...
  2. They were so damn cool! I couldn't see Simon Pegg from where I was sitting though! I have already booked my tix for next year at Wembley Arena. :) I was singing Viva la Vida all the way home yesterday...
  3. The Weatherman - 2/10 I hate Nicholas Cage
  4. Yes your hymn comment. Deeply offensive to a Catholic atheist like myself. Oh no wait, it isn't, my mistake!
  5. Wow, he's pretty. Wow
  6. *slaps David* This is insane, people have their priorities entirely wrong. I worry about the human race and only hope that the warming of the globe wipes everyone out. :smug:
  7. *Thread bump* What is the most recent album like then? I never got around to buying it. Oops.
  8. Well it's a Coldplay forum so I would be surprised if they didn't get the majority of the vote. My vote went to Radiohead; there is no way on Earth that Coldplay could record an album like OK Computer, it's too mindblowing. I do like Coldplay too, I just don't think they reach the heights of Radiohead both with lyrics and music.
  9. I'm not sure what it is; maybe it has something to do with my dislike of The White Stripes. Exceedingly boring in my opinion.
  10. Strictly Come Dancing My guilty pleasure...
  11. I really enjoyed this, it had some good action sequences. I like the theme song as well, even though I dislike Jack White profusely.
  12. On/Off is such a beautiful song. One Night Is Not Enough is my favourite from that album.
  13. Steve Carrell I don't know! Must be the humour thing eh...? :o
  14. I want his children. ^Nice Royksopp quote in the sig above :)
  15. Audition on X Factor, you will be Christmas Number 1 with that next year.
  16. I have heard some tracks from it and I did like them, but I am definitely more a fan of their older stuff. :) However, I will check out Send Away The Tigers, just as it's Manics!
  17. I'm listening now, The Golden Floor really stood out. It deserves more than 2 stars. And yeah, a lot of people think that Final Straw was their FIRST album...! Imbeciles!
  18. The 80's had TONS of great (and not-so-great) music. New Order - Blue Monday and True Faith. FANTASTIC songs U2 - Just most of their stuff from the 80's was brilliant. I didn't like Angel of Harlem though, was that the 80's? I can't remember!
  19. What's rather amusing about this whole thing is that Simon Cowell said that Peter Kay releasing a single was a waste of time. Unlike the winner of The X Factor releasing a crap single for Christmas. That's totally NOT a waste of time.
  20. 8/10 Burn after Reading as well! Very funny but also scarily believeable!
  21. Everyone in this thread should own/listen to 'The Holy Bible'. Richey was (or is??) an amazing lyricist. I never bought the last album they did, any good?
  22. Over-rated: Razorlight, (good but not THAT good). The Libertines, Dirty Pretty Things...etc Under-rated: Manic Street Preachers, their album 'The Holy Bible' beats the crap out of a lot of the so-called 'edgy' albums around now! Admittedly Manics newer stuff isn't really that great, but I will ignore that :)
  23. Ah I can't wait to see them in concert again. The Escapist is my favourite track off the new album, it's just so simple and beautiful :-)
