Haha no, it isn't that bad. I just love their other alvums 8038748937 times more.

I love how we're all talking English in here, when it says "International: Talking to people in your language"

I guess it's more neural  Plus the occasional Fin won't understand :P

Finland isn't in Scandinavia

:) greetings !

I am looking for any information on Springerle, or Speculaas

biscuits(cookies)......such as old family recipes, and in particular, the wooden molds to make these.

Does anyone here have a tradition of these at Christmas?

There are molds to be found made in the USA , but I am looking for Scandanavian recipes, molds, or stories from any of you from there.

Thanks !

Kanelbullar  I just had some.

:confused:Ok- so this is like a cinnamon roll- which is also very common here. Im looking for more of a buttery biscuit type old world recipe.

Spritz is welcome too.

It's the old or antique molds I am interested in mostly.

Here is a site I found. http://www.houseonthehill.com

Im reading they are more German ?

How about... Danske butterkager :charming:

Spritz is welcome too.

I thought that was some kind of fish or something

I read that as "Fritzl is welcome too". :blank:
