Tribute band.

Featured Replies

I've seen a couple of posts on different boards from people interested in starting Coldplay tribute bands. Now this is something I'd really love to do. Problem is every offer I've seen is from somewhere in the UK.

Is there anyone in the New England area of the US who's interested in trying something like this?

I play Piano and sing.

Welcome to the boards "the orange glow"

Do you have any original material to share? It is possible that we could piece together a Coldplay cover over the internet, even though I'm all of the way down in Kansas. I'll do my best to be Johnny on guitar.

Have fun here at Coldplaying!

That's not a bad idea..

I have some instrumental stuff I did a while ago. I'll have to post that up. I'll try and get that up within the next few hours or so. I'm between classes right now so it might take a little bit.

I love the idea though...a nationwide online tribute band.

By the way, I posted a reply to you original music thread. Loved your stuff. What do you use to record it? The quality is incredible. What program(s) and equipment?

Coldplay already have two tribute bands-Coolplay and Coldplace.

Actually Coldplay has over 5 tribute bands. All with different sounds.

Coolplay and Coldplace are only the most well known ones. Google

"coldplay tribute bands" and i'm sure at least 5 will come up. All the one's I've heard are actually pretty good. They all give a different flair to coldplay's music. And that's what I wat to do. That's the point of a tribute band. To play the music of a band that you admire. Do you know how many Beatles or Pink Floyd tribute bands there are? I never said I wanted to like play huge gigs and get booked for parties and stuff. Just play around with Coldplay's awesome music.

Rock.
