February 16, 200620 yr This statement always gets me thinking. Would you choose to be dumb and ignorant, but happy? Im just thinking about things and comparing different times of my life when I felt a bit more ignorant and seemed happier. An example being childhood, I just ran around like any other kid, not thinking of the world's problems, as I wasn't even aware of them, and hella yeah, I was happy. Now, I know more about the world, I can read books, which I do, and get informed, but this knowledge, I cant say that it's made me happy. It has made me a bit fulfilled, and in that sense I'm happier with myself, but at the end of the day, not as happy as I used to be. How important is your happiness?
February 16, 200620 yr huh...this one is hard...i'm not sure that i want to be happy, but poor for example...the carrier is very important for me,at the moment i would do everything to reach my aims :/ doens't matter if i have to be happy with family and have everything or to be alone with nobody and nothing... i think it will change with the years
February 16, 200620 yr blimey, Reilly, looks like you're making up for lost time. in most respects ignorance is bliss would probably be a godsend but at others I think I would want to know. if someone you loved had a terminal disease surely ignorance wouldn't be good, if you knew you could make sure that all the time left to you was extra special. if you were completely ignorant to the fact you would carry on as normal. at other times, I wish that i didn't know things because it does me no use whatsoever to hodl that particular piece of information.
February 16, 200620 yr During childhood, it might be good to not know some things...it'd be too overwhelming. But when we're older we need to know certain things, otherwise we'll just discover them on our own...and they'll hit you hard
February 17, 200620 yr ignorance can be bliss can't it ... but thats because you aren't taking in reality and what is really happening around you .... its possible to have real bliss where actually everything is fantastic, perhaps this is what all people strive to acheive? ... and i reckon 100% fail to have bliss throughout their whole life, no matter how much in love you are or how much money you have .. it doesn't always make you happy .... i think one of the main ways to achieve bliss is through being in love with someone that you fully trust and know that they love you in the same way you love them .. this reassurance is actually incredibly difficult to come across .... you will always have girls like Mafe who like to play with men's hearts and i reckon this works the other way round too .... :) haha i'm only joking with you Mafe ;) :D :P
February 18, 200620 yr People I belive you are aware that pic is fake, no? Oh yeah, regarding the question NO, it's not!
April 19, 200620 yr I am ignorant, so its all good, sometimes I wish I wasn't, Reilly you and some others on here make me less ignorant, which is good, for now....
April 20, 200620 yr no,no its not bad, you make me think more about things, which is good, very good. My parents are always angry at me because they say I don't think before I act and all that. But you make me think, I now have a sorta spiritual side.
