I'll be there too. Can't wait either. Should be an awesome show as always. This will be my 3rd time seeing Coldplay on this tour.

So will I...first Coldplay show!!

Sure, we're in the back, but we're there! Section 203? Where is everyone else?

Who ever is sitting in section 133 get ready, Chris will be joining you during In My Place. ;)

lucky them! i was going to be in 233...close, but darn

I thought about going to the Cleveland show, but decided on Milwaukee instead. Saw them in Cleveland on the Rush of Blood tour.

I am going, we are sitting in section 100 first row. hopefully Chris will be right near us during the encore.

I'm in section 100, row 2. I'm very excited to see my first Coldplay show!!

I'll be there too! Section 8!! I'm so friggin excited - my first Coldplay show!!!

BTW, does anyone know whether or not the band stays in a hotel in the city they're playing, or do they just stay on their bus?? Because I'm trying to figure out whether or not they'll be in town for a while, so I can stake out the Renaissance Hotel in search for them. lol!

I have Sec. 124 right up front!! And as far as them staying in the City for the night, I have no idea!? Im just hopeing the do because they have a day off befor the 2 day run in Ontario. And im sleeping in the best hotel of the city so why the hell wouldnt they stay there too!!! I would love to walk up on them in the lounge and by them a drink or sleep right friggin next to there room!!!! Im in a nice Club level room so if anyone else is staying in the Renaissance Hotel and wants to party after the concert let me know.

section 5 row BB

Going to cleveland show too. Paid a lot to get front row. Having seen them three other times with pitt tix, there was no way I was going to see them any other way!! Totally worth every penny though. I would think however, that they would be staying at The Ritz. Who knows we'll have to check out both hotels at their lounges afterward!!

I'll be there!

I am so last minute...... I have been trying for days to decide whether to go to Cleveland, Chicago, or Toronto. so I checked on Ticketmaster and got section 6 row DD just this afternoon. I think I might make a sign that says " GOOD LUCK ON THE DVD!" or something like that. HOPE TO SEE SOME GREAT CROWD INTERACTION!

I think I'm in section 231 or something. One of the people who was going to go in our group screwed us over by having to wait to see if he was going to Florida for Spring Break and by the time he told us we were stuck up there. It won't be all bad though. It's still Coldplay... right? :p

Oh, and this is my 2nd show. Saw them in Pittsburgh back in August, hence the join date. ;)

The show is tonight!! Wooot!!! I can't wait!

YES! THEY DID!

I am DLing all my pics now. and whoa do I have a story to share!

I will try to be quick!

I decided to go sunday afternoon, because someone tipped me off that Ticketmaster had a section 6 row DD ticket up for one. This was just like setting a 24 pack in front of an alcholic. I had to buy it. So ticketfast it was! I immediately felt guilt. But not because I wasn't doing anything wrong just being impulsive. lol. BUT I LAUGH AT MYSELF NOW. I WILL NEVER FEEL GUILTY AGAIN. IT WAS 110% worth it!

Made good time on the way there. arrived in Cleveland about 5:30. Finally they let in the crowd. I brought with me a pretty hefty camera. Canon Digital Rebel. A good friend let me borrow it. I strategically placed it in my purse. with the 50mm f1.8 lens. Luckily in the bag check security didnt mind or didnt see it. Then found my seat, it was unbelieveable. Centrally loacted in a large aisle. so plenty of room to DANCE! I was seat 2.

Richard Ashcroft came out on time and I was blown away.:stunned: He has such an awesome presence. I immediately felt empowered hearing his set. He tore off his shoes and ripped off his socks not even one line into the opening song. Many loyal fans were there for him on the front floor section. Inbetween songs, it was practically a conversation between him and the fans. VERY amusing.:P He talked about Bush being in town today and of course the crowd erupted into booing. He liked that. He also said something along the lines of I am here to take back and represent my name, because someone in american politics also has it. John Ashcroft. lol. Some requested " Why not Nothing?" and he replied" yeah let's change the setlist and play that then." So that seemed reallly cool! He chugged some beer and even recieved a mobile call and sort of answered it. He set it down and kind of sang into it. He mentioned alot of his wife and kids.

What I recall he played: Keys to the World, Music Is Power, Words Just Get in the Way, Break the Night with Color ( not sure though), Lucky Man, and Bittersweet Symphony.

But hopefully someone has the complete set list.

10/10 for Ashcroft. He most certainly has a new dedicated fan!:D

ok beback to post more.

He was brilliant. Finally Coldplay bring a proper opening act to America. I wish I had taped Lucky Man. God it was beautiful.

AHHHHHHH!! Holy effing crap!! This concert was my first Coldplay show, and I can't believe how AWESOME it was!

My seats were supposed to be Section 8, row Q (which is toward the back of the floor) but they somehow deleted our section and changed our seats last minute. I was pretty pissed off that we weren't on the floor , but when I saw our new seats, I was in love! They moved us into this higher section on the right of the stage - and I could see everything! It was amazing! Anyways, about the show....

I arrived as Ashcroft was almost done with his set. I didn't know any of his songs (except BS). The crowd was really loving Bittersweet Symphony, and people around me were all singing along. It was nice!

Fast forward about 15 minutes. The lights go down as Coldplay is ready to come on, and everybody goes apeshit. They started out with Square One, and I honestly don't even remember that first performance because I was screaming, clapping, and trying to come to grips with the fact that I was in the same room as Coldplay. :o It took me a while to get over seeing them all in the flesh. I was disappointed to see that Chris still had the mop hair, but maybe he'll cut it for the Toronto DVD?? LOL.

Anyway, some highlights:

- Chris thanked us all for showing up for a concert on a Monday, because it's hard to go to a concert on Mondays since we have "school, and work, and other shit." Very warm response to that.

- During the acoustic part, one of the four bright lights weren't working, and Chris said "If you're thinking 'why doesn't that light work? I want my money back!' then don't worry because it's deliberate. We like to keep three out of four lights on at all times. If you're thinking that this is a fuck-up, it's not." EVERYONE went nuts.

-Then after that light incident, Chris tried to introduce Til' Kingdom Come, but ended up saying something like "This is called ...Oh fuck it, let's just play..."

- Clocks had a red laser. It was pretty awesome! I know I read in the Coldplayer that they were bringing back the laser, but I wasn't anticipating it. It was so cool.

- Then there was all the usual stuff: Jonny sang during Don't Panic, Chris told us "They teach you how to sing in Cleveland" which I know he tells everyone, and Chris ran out during In My Place and let some lucky girl in the back sing a line.

- Also, Chris pointed to the people in the back and said something like "We haven't forgotten you. Even that tiny little person that's like five miles away in the corner, we're thinking about you." (that's roughly what he said) I thought that was pretty sweet of him.

After the show, people were blasting Coldplay songs from their cars. I was walking around downtown for a while, and we passed a bunch of bars that were playing Coldplay songs pretty loudly. You could really feel the "Coldplay spirit" in downtown Cleveland.

Sorry if this was a long post. It was just an all around amazing show! I didn't think I could love Coldplay any more, but after seeing them live, I do. :)
