i could never see them live - unless they become too big (and i dont want that)

I live in Portsmouth, England...i could go to so many gigs around the country but i never seem to have the time or money...but loads of bands still come to my home city and play small venue gigs :cool:

so heres my clap your hands encounter story..

 

on the way back from sasquatch music festival at the airport.. i see them waiting at the terminal at the same airline me and my friends are on. i freak out internally for like 5-10 minutes and so naturally i go up to them and ask for a picture. theyre kinda flustered coz our flight had just gotten delayed 3 hours and they were trying to figure out what to do. so the lead Alec is like "uhhh" lol but robbie was nicer and was liek "sure" so yeah i apologized for harrassing them and took a pic.. thanked them and walked away..

 

 

fast forward 3 hours. as i mentioned before.. they were on the same flight as us (seeing as theyre frmo NYC - its not THAT much of a coincidence i guess) and as the fates would have it.. they were sitting NEAR US.. infact.. robbie was sitting NEXT TO ME AND MY FRIEND.. as u can imagine.. it was an awkward flight home. he asked us how the potato salad was. and then he started watchin Lost. and eating peanut m&ms. thats as deep as the conversation got lol

 

 

and heres the pic we took! look hwo happy they are... hahaha :P

 

ROBBIE!! :blush: you're so lucky :o if i sit next to robbie i will staring at him nonstop lol. and Alec is so handsome. how long was the flight? i wish i live in NYC :P thanks for sharing the story :smiley:

the flight was like 5 hours lol soo it was awkwardness for 5 hours.. he got apple juice too.. same as me! it was funny coz i asked for it first.. and then he goes "apple juice" and i was like :stunned: internally.. yeah i get excited over little things. haha
