I am bored out of my mind, so I read through the Coldplay Live thread.

And I find this sick sick spill about a (married man) trying to back out of his marriage to find some gal!

Okay I say to myself..the world is sick...blah blah...

BUT THEN...

no one tells the guy to find some healthy counciling for his marriage (because he mentions having a sad relationship)

no one tells him to let this gal go, he has made his vows in marriage

no one no one no one!

IT's sick!

I mean, imagine if you were the wife (or husband if it had happened to her)

and finding out that everyone is telling you to just leave your spouse for some "intuition" or a soulmate!

That is not the way things are supposed to go!

I hope whoever posted back to that guy in a negative manner...is

ASHAMED of theirselves!

(Eric..you meant yours in jest and i know it,...so you're outta the bad boat)

First put your shoes in the reality of life and don't give someone BAD advice. Give him GOOD advice ..like, get some help in your relationship or something like that!

How serious should vows be taken?

Very seriously....

Because the moment you start to have negative back out feelings in a marriage, that is the moment your marriage begins to FAIL.

I vote the last one yesterday ;)

seriously man, try and work it out, divorces can be expensive

make good choices on your answer, Ian....maybe the wifey is around! :p

so is marriage counciling....but why care about the price if it

could help your marriage!?

Nobody should be giving this guy advice either way, as it's nothing to do with them.

Only he knows what the circumstances of his marriage are. However, if he's as easily distracted as this, then he was obviously looking for a way out already.............................maybe he should go see Dr. Phil!!:wink3:

hey.. I just moved the thread over there lol I wasn't encouraging the man to divorce his wife and stuff I just thought he might have luck finding the woman there....

being a product of a broken marriage, I say no need to drag out the marriage, and pretend to care. he obviously doesn't if he is looking at other women and feels 'sad' as he so eloquently put it... sad but true. If he has kids with his wife, then no sense in putting the kids thru false hope.... just get it over with.. be there for your kids, and divorce. Period.

And stay away from those money-grabbing divorce lawyers!!:wink3:

no one even recommended he try to get help though.

It's ugly how the first option in someone's mind (that gave the advice) is divorce!

Too late, even administrators can vote only once :P

It's easier if you split up by consent, though, and often the new court systems will offer mediation as part of the court system to avoid having to go through divorce for little to no extra cost
