I just hope that any hurricanes that hit america, hit florida. because were used to them and our goverment can deal with them much better the rest of the gulf and new orleans cant take anymore. for me in the past hurricanes have been fun, although for many people that isnt true. im just lucky enough to never have any major damage to my house or family.

geeez I wonder why??? hmmm maybe because the Guvnah is brothas wit DubbYa! :P

No, because he knows the dangers of hurricanes and florida has lived through MANY and over the years we've learned how to deal with them better then most states. our goverment has since andrew learned alot about how to do it. has nothing to do with his brother, it has to do with our local goverments doing the right thing at the right time.

ok.. you go one believing that one!! lol

I do remember when Andrew hit, it was well organized and stuff.. I;m not sure if he was Governor then.. he might have just been elected.. but I don't think he was in the picture yet... I'm just teasing of course.. but it was clearly not handled properly (the whole katrina bit) by all forms of government.. state, local and federal.

anyhoo... lets hope FL doesn't get hit too badly.. I have fam and friends there!

Its true. most our citizens and goverement as a whole has been through MANY hurricanes and we mostly know how to deal with them. once bush is out of office it will be the same. but i agree lets hope there isnt any bad storms that hit. sadly i think there will be.

The storm just hit NC, where I live, and it filled our deficit of 5" of rain. The roads were so bad today, most of them were closed down at some point.
