Anyone going to the Concert (In Aussie) this Sat?

Featured Replies

hey, Laura from NZ here. I was just wondering, who here was going to the concert this sat (24th June)?

Oh yes, Flying out of Auckland tomorrow morning (Friday) . . been waiting for this since November!

You flew out this morning too? ha, me too! Thats pretty cool.

How was it for you?, I must praise the Australians for being very organised, the venue was well run, we got right up the front and all behaved themselves! Even the front of stage security were nice. . . . . different back here, give little people uniforms. . . .

I enjoyed Youth Group. . . . . would have preferred Evermore! but Youth Group were good, I thought the crowd took a while to get into them. . but I guess they only have a couple of singles out, no album yet, so maybe people dont know much of their music.

ha, exactly the same here! Thought, Evermore should've came and I also agree that the audience was a bit slow, but once they mentioned:

"And we wanna thank from the bottom of our hearts, coldplay..."

That... got a loud cheer.

Loved the Concert! And wore my shirt back on the plane today. :)

I took NZ132 back to Auckland saw 3 people wearing the concert shirts. . I was surprised by how many went from New Zealand. . . did you go to both shows then? when did you get your tickets? I got mine in November so I have been hanging out for this weekend for ages.

I was on that plane too! I was the 13 year old girl wearing the black t-shirt and the yellow writing. :)

oh and, I got the tickets beginning of may. When they released more tickets.

Where were you sitting/standing at the concert?

God damn they released more tickets in May? I could have got Friday tickets. . . . we went thru gate 11 which was at the barrier across the floor (not at the front) we were right on the barrier, in the centre, so perfect sound & sight!. . . 14 eh? we had some screaming girls behind us, they must have been your age (oh my God, that is the same age my son is!) . . . I felt sorry for them, as I doubt they would have seen much past me and my mate (who is 6 ft 4!)

haha, yeah, I went through gate 11 too, but when you went through the gate, there were a whole lot of seats which you had to walk through to get into the pit, but yeah, we were at the back row of the bunch of seats on the right. They were fantastic seats.

You sound like you got good seats too! Anyone near you manage to catch the cameras?

No we were standing, I can't go to concerts and sit it would drive me mad! And I dont know about the cameras, someone had a camera next to us. . . I got a whole heap of pics on my mobile but someone here posted some great pics (NOB?) anyway those ics bought back good memories!
