You were seated then?

Yep

Well they are great shots if you were seated

Thanks:)

lozm, did you come out to Australia purely for Coldplay, or were you here down under on holiday at the time?

Yep

Lol don't complain, I was in the second last row of the sydney entertainment centre. They looked like ants hahaha. Lucky I went to two more shows ;)

Haha, I wish I could afford to go to OZ, just to see Coldplay. I'm currently at the end of my gap year, during which I worked in a bar and spent a few weeks travelling in June/July. I hadn't booked anything, and had planned to go to Australia first and then New Zealand last, but then just before I booked it, Coldplay announced their Australian tour and just changed my iteniery. I originally had a ticket just for the first Sydney show, but then I realised I was in Perth the same time as Coldplay and I bought a ticket when the 2nd batch got realesed and I nearly forked out about $210 for a ticket on e-bay.

Ouch, $210 for a ticket seated is a bit of a killer. Oh well, at least you got to see an amazing show in Perth.

No, luckily I got outbidded by $5, I think it was for a GA, but I didn't get ripped off in the end, cos they realesed some more tickets on ticketmaster and I managed to get them for face value which was good for me.:D

Hi all

It was a great show indeed... I couldn't bring myself to stop enjoying the show enough to take some pictures, but I'm not real upset! :)

Has anybody come across any bootleg audio of the entire Perth show? I would feel wrong about paying somebody for it, because Coldplay wouldn't be getting any money from that sale, and that's not very fair... however, I will make a donation to a worthy charity in line with maketradefair and drop the debt, in exchange for a copy.

Anybody heard of a copy floating around somewhere?

Cheers

As far as I know, the only audio from the Australian gigs, is the one from the 2nd Sydney show, I don't think there is anything else, well definatley not from Perth anyway.:(

There is only bits and pieces on youtube.com

ah, great guys! Thanks for the pics and the videos! That first Square One vid was awesome...especially the end where Chris drops to the ground and crawls to the piano :nice:

  • 2 weeks later...

Yes, that vid brings back lots and lots of great memories.

  • 4 weeks later...

Casting your minds back, can anyone remember the song that was played just before Coldplay came on stage? I have heard the song once briefly since then but never found out who it was.

  • 1 month later...

Anyone?
