Featured Replies

So A-level results come out this thursday, the scottish higher results last week, GCSE's next week, so is anyone waiting to get the little piece of paper which says how well (or poor) they did in the summer exams?

If so, which subjects are you waiting the results for.

Good luck to everybody waiting for their results! and well done coldplayette, those results are really good!

i already received the results of my final high school exams...now i'm waiting to know in which college i entered...

good luck everyone! ;)

I got my exam results a while ago. i failed most of them.... thats what i get for never studying or staying awake in class.

hmm we have AP tests that count for college/university credit (if you score high enough) while you're still in high school. they came in july, although i know a lot of ppl who haven't gotten their yet. the scale is from 1-5: 1-2 being failing and 3-5 are passing. i got a 4/5...decent enough, i guess.

i've got my report awhile ago

i got no A

but full of C and D instead

my mom is so mad cos i have to do IGCSE next year

and i dont know what to do now :embarassed:

don't be sad peng  I'm sure you'll do it great later...

what's IGCSE??

it's some kind of test you have to do to get into the university

ohh I see

I had to do a test like that in 2005

i'm not quite understand the procedure of it

they say that may be the government will change the way of entering the university

....i'm not so sure about everything right now

I wish you the best luck peng... :D

here u have to hand in 2 reports to get into uni

one is your high school final exam results (which i will be getting the grades to by the end of this month).

and the other is this test u have to do as well. And the scoring is out of 800, it's really strange. It's a timed test where u do all sorts of things- like test your math skills, vocabulary, comprehension etc.

but i havent done that yet, i'll only do it in a couple of years because im not applying to uni yet.

You need to get like 750 in that test to learn biochemistry or medicine. And it's really hard to do. Most ppl get something between 550-600

thanks :)

:shocked2:

yea i know it sucks haha

but i still have time to worry about that

oh, and btw, on my high school report i need an average of around 110. How is that possible u asked?

well they just like complicating things here, but according to my speculations i'll have an average of aroung 107. So I think that will be enough

ok, i gotta get to work. Bye bye!!!

it's almost like here...

here to go to uni you have to do 3 or 4 test.. one of maths and one of language and you have to choose between history or sciences or do both tests... you have to have an score between 600 and 800 to enter to a good uni.. most of the people scores 500 or 600 points

oh.. i guess it's the same thing

but in addition to that we also have our high school final exams, in which the system is really complicated i can barely understand how it works

i just go on universities sites and they check your average. It's too complicated to understand how to do the average by yourself
