Gitta Rensolo
Yeeeeeees....... now this is german "neue deutsche Welle" and not the "Fräulein Menke" mainstream "Neue Deutsche Welle"... (ok I doubt if anyone understands now what I'm talking about..haha.....) I do not really know any particular songs by them......but what I know is that they are a real part of serious german music history...and that they are differnet....to some it may appear weird.. the special thing about them is that they mostly used things as instruments that other people used in their all day life...same as they used scrap metal and things like that,.,.. here is a weird but I'd say typical video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2q3y6LObH0 and this one is not that weird...hehe... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pm_aut6RDAY wow I didn't even know they also have songs like this one....yay I've learned something... and this song is niiiiiiiice... Ondes Martenot
nah, i don't know anything about German music apart from Einstürzende Neubauten and Kraftwerk :) lol i've only heard 2 albums of theirs, but i really really liked both (Halber Mensch and Zeichnungen des Patienten O.T). creative, interesting, dark (the darkest music i've ever heard, maybe), scary, experimental. amazing stuff! i'm on the way to find their CDs in the music shop here, in my city. although, unlikely i'll find any

Gitta Rensolo
Thanks Nik:) They just released a biography-----I heard a report about that on the radio today....I think this is quite interesting....even consider to buy the book..... they were/are with Kraftwerk for example one of the most important german bands... they also played a song by them on the radio...
