How come things i don't understand wasn't put on X&Y? It's such a good song. I know there is probably a thread about this already but I couldn't find it.

Hmm well you got a point :) I don't know it, and I agree it's one of the best songs they've made :)

its better than a lot of songs on X&Y... they really should have put it on the album.

Well, and they should have put Gravity, How you see the World and Sleeping Sun on it, too.. They can't put all songs on it, that's why we have such brilliant b-sides :D I'm fine with that!

U knw I asked the question about all of the b-sides. And can't really come up with answers. Maybe they felt the songs weren't long enough to hold an album. Or they probably didn't like those as much as the others. But I think they should have really put things I dnt understand on the album in the place of low. Low would have been the best b-side ever

Well I always thought that Things I Don't Understand, Sleeping Sun, and etc. would sound misplaced on the album because they don't really sound like the others- you know what I mean? They're perfect b-sides though, like buried treasure...kind of :confused:

^ Absolutely agreed! I think that an album is kinda "one unite", every song has to fit well with the others, it's one story, one part, one masterpiece :P

 

And the individual b-sides, which all sound great themselves, wouldn't be as good on the album I guess..

I second that! The albums have rings to them, no matter how good the b-sides, you don't want to place them somewhere where their greatness won't be as appreciated as if they were a b-side.

Yep, Don't change b-sides for albums songs, or album songs into b-sides :)

Cause the album songs are great, and the b-sides also :D

Otherwise they can give us 2 albums :nice:

I think it is, because their fans (Like my-self) with buy the single CDs to get the new songs. I think it is a good idea, plus I love the CD covers;)
