You do not have any memories of this year?

I am sure that you have plenty of good things to tell

Okay hold on, let me go grab the paper where I wrote it.

Things that inspired me during the year: 2006

- First, making it to my 21st! (My bday...one year older, oh no!)

- Taking my little neices to Disneyland. (Event) I'll never forget it...just remembering seeing their faces as the watched the parade and Mickey Mouse! and the best memory; the fireworks at nigh and the beach. My little neices do really inspire me.

-Waking Life (movie) for making me see that maybe it doesn't matter who you are at the end.

- Angelina! (My new neice, Event) Seeing & hearing my 7month old neice cry for me everytime I would leave the room after just meeting her a few minutes before for the first time :nice:

- Coldpay! (Band) Because I almost lost faith :(

- Brokeback Mountain (Movie) I cried & time does pass by that fast & for making me realise that if you want to do something, do it & to stop making excuses and feeling sorry for myself for things I simply could not control. I don't have to be on the edge with strong winds and rain 24/7 everyday. Learn from yesterdays and be wiser today (my quote of the year hahaha:laugh3:) and oh yeah don't forget to laugh ;)

Overall, I did had a good year as far as making memories & being in the moment goes, but had a shaky and difficult one for emotional, acceptance and forgiveness and all that other crap go.. :)

that was long

2006...

Heh, 2006--very interesting year.

Hurricane Katrina Relief - First of all, I wasn't home on New Year's eve--I was in Mississippi, USA with a school group doing mission work after Hurricane Katrina--gutting (tearing everything but the frames) houses, distributing food, etc etc. It was an awesome way to start the year, IMO. Doing charity work--I don't think I've ever felt happier. I was really inspired by how happy and thankful the people there were, despite their crisis. It was pretty... er... what should I say....humbling too--Delta (Don't Expect Your Luggage To Arrive ) airlines lost my luggage for a few days, so I had to work & sleep in the same clothes for four days. :freak:

Coldplay - Holy crap! The freaking concert was aweessoommeee... and I got to bring in my freaking awesome new camera, and take freaking awesome pictures of the most freaking awesome band ever. :stunned:

Muse - Ah! I became Muse obsessed later this year--I liked them, but I never realized how amazing they are. :freak:

Photography - After browsing through a bunch of amazing pictures on deviant art late 2005, I started getting really interested in photography, and ironically, so did my dad and he got a professional grade camera. :freak: Then I got my own in January--then it's all history. :nice:

Art - I appreciate art a lot more than I did before now for some reason. I've been drawing a lot this year too. Hm.

Guitar - I started straying from the drums and started learning more guitar this year--I have... phases with instruments, haha. One year, I like to play drums 'n stuff, the next, I'll love guitar... haha.

Spanish - Ah! I never know how fun it was to learn another language. I thought I'd suck at it, but hey! I'm okay I think. I started in August.

Well, I can't think of anything more right now, and I feel like I'm missing something, but whatever. That's 2006 for 'ya.

Biggy for me this year was the Coldplay concert - WOOOOOOOOW!

Another would be making a lot of new close friends.

Also I found a lot of great bands this year which slaightered my old taste lol

I can't really think of many now...i'll try and think of more later
