Collectors Beware

Featured Replies

Just tossing this out there for anyone who collects releases and/or officially released merch and uses eBay.

just had my first bad experience (in over 415 transactions).

won and sent payment for an item. confirmed my payment info was received by the seller, but a month later it had still not been processed and the item never received. I left negative feedback after trying to contact the seller 5-6 times over a four week span. Now he left me negative feedback in retaliation.

BE CAREFUL if dealing with ebayer "startifacts."

I can prove he rec'd my payment. I researched his neg feedbacks; anyone who's left him a neg got one in return. all negs left were primarily for the same reason.

If anyone's had similar experiences or has a recommended "stay away from" member, please post it up. this guy had decent feedback, but I wish I'd have checked his negs before bidding. Maybe help each other avoid a future incident?

What item has he been claiming to sell? Something rare or a regular release?

the item is probably real.

the warning label is attached to his blatant retaliatory negative feedback...multiple occasions of buyers complaining if sales never processed and merchandise never sent and of communications never returned.

after neg feedback is left, seller will respond alike.
