I think I like commas TOO MUCH, considering I constantly use it for every little reason when writing. :thinking:

well, I use commas. I was always one of those..... you know, comma ignorers :curtain: until one day I realized that.. commas are not so great. Actually that day was today about 5 minutes ago BUT[ still [ we should use a different punctuation mark instead of commas every time we need to use a comma :shy:

 

like- for instance- we can use dashes-

and$ we can use dollar signs$and & wecan use other signs( it seems much cooler! totally against the flow of commas^

or asterisks!

or a combination !@#$

and I say we start spelling I like this >>> ey

english is the weirdest language I think. It must be so difficult to learn because there are no hard and fast rule to how to pronnounce words. And even when there is there are always exceptions to the rules. Didn't quite realise this until I started teaching it. Nightmare

There's a crazy alphabet and millions of spelling rules to remember. There's so many rules like "this letter can never go after this letter" and the endings and verbs and aaaargh!!!

but do you not find it easier to learn when there are actual rules? For fluent English there aren't always rules which used to piss me off trying to explain it!:laugh3:
