I felt really lucky for a while when I was collecting the sound bytes...I was one of a very few peple on here who knew what Ian's voice sounded like,lol.;) :lol:

For now, we're just selling it on cafepress.com. The ccc has a shop there. I've mailed in the master, and once they confirm it's there, and Nadia uploads her wonderful artwork, we're in business.

 

I'd like to manufacture CDs to sell through this site, but that costs alot of money. Say a prayer that someone with extra money hears about this and wants to help out.:)

The thing I've learned about Debs is that the more you nag her about something, the less she wants to hear about it *coughDVDcough*. So I don't want to push her. I'll trust Tania to handle that, and I'll drop her a pm on the official site inviting her to check out the myspace. I think this is something really special, and i'm sure it can get into the right hands.

 

It would cost about $1500 to make a run of 500 CDs, so the ccc would be spending more than it might make off it. Of course, if it does really well, it's worth talking about. But cafepress does a quality job, so I'm happy with them for now.

 

Also, I have an account at clickbands.com where I might be able to make it available for paid download.

There's no such thing as too positive. And you're not naive eihter. I don't know alot more about this than anyone else, but if we all spread the word, I think we can do something really great. Your input is always welcome!:)

 

Hi Jo. It's too bad we didn't get more clips, but we did a pretty good job with the ones we have, imo. It all worked out.:)

I love ENglish accents. I always assumed Zemy101 would sound really young, but he sounds quite mature. I truly think it's the accent.:lol:

Let's just say we had to edit some of the clips. For one thing, from a legal perspective, there were too many referrences to cp, and I didn't want people thinking it was a cp-sanctioned project. That could actually get us into trouble with the band's label/management. For another, a couple of ppl laughed. And it's too bad no one will get to hear Julia saying 'Coldplay rocks my socks!'.:laugh3:

Same here. It's why I overuse 'lol' all the time,lol...erm...

 

I had to start over a few times in the studio because even though I took this seriously, I sounded so funny to myself being serious.

 

Then there was the part where I was reading the thing about coffee right after having a sip of my shitty-tasting, non-Fair Trade instant coffee. The irony hit me so hard I burst out laughing and almost spit coffee all over the sound booth.:laugh3:

 

Sorry I'm rambling, but only the producer and I know about this stuff. It's fun telling it to someone on here.
