i saw a nice coldplay book at amazon.de with sheets to all songs ever released for less than 20€ (c. 25$US), but it is for guitar.

"unfortunately", i play piano. can i also use the book to play piano?

Probably not.

mm you could but obviously that does not have all the piano parts, some things can be the same and it can work but I suggest not to buy it cause it may not work too much if you don't play guitar

i just wonder why most books are for piano and guitar, but there is no hint in this case....

today i found out that i actually can't use this book for piano, but can anybody recommend a book with all songs (or with b-sides only) for piano?

The first book I bought was the guitar tab edition of the 2003 tour. It's really good, and I found it was better than the simple transcriptions in some of the other made for piano books.

 

I'd say get guitar books if you're prepared to work out the songs a bit yourself, but if you want like a rigid notation, then piano books can be useful.
