January 13, 200818 yr Author Hehe I am blessed with naturally straight and sleek hair. But it's very thin and prone to damage, which is why the short hair works well. It's only not good when i want to make it look messy, i mean i can but it's a bit harder.
January 13, 200818 yr i have vast amounts of thick, frizzy, curly hair that MUST be blow-dryed or straightened to go out of the house. it's ridiculous. i wish i had straight hair. i have no idea where i get my hair from, since everyone else in my family has red hair and is pretty thin and straight. i come from another planet, i think.
January 13, 200818 yr is it red as well? I loooove red hair. Rupert Grint  no, it's black. well, it used to be black. it's softened into a normal-esque brown color. though you can occasionally find a few red strands in it. i wish i had red hair! but i'm pretty against dyeing hair unless its grey, so i'm ok with brown.
January 13, 200818 yr Author Then you'd have a choice as to what to do with it. You could use a curling iron or a straightener
March 6, 200818 yr Oh dear.. I just had a haircut today. And i was really excited to go there 'cause my hairdresser has never cut the hair too short or ruined it in any way...till this day. My hair wasn't really long at all to start with..and i know i told her that i want it to be shortER. But i think she misunderstood what i said and now it's really quite short.. And i don't know what to do :( I know it's not really a big deal..or that it shouldn't be..but i'm just not happy the way it is...i wish i could go back to this morning and decide that i don't want it to be cut :bigcry: And i hate that feeling when i'm sitting in the chair and looking in the mirror and realize that it's gonna be really short! But then i just never say anything..i let her finish her job and boo it's ruined. Bah. I have no other choice than to learn to live with this sort hair that makes me look like i've got cancer.
March 6, 200818 yr ^ugh, bad haircuts are the worst :( at least it grows back though. i have a hair dilemma as well, actually. i'm 18 years old and i'm going grey. it's been happening since about may 2007, but there have been more and more grey hairs cropping up in the past month or so, and it's really beginning to depress me. i called my mom a few weeks ago kind of upset about it, and she proceeded to tell me that my grandma went grey at age 18 as well, and she went grey in her early twenties, so it's just in my genes and i have to deal. i pluck out a few grey strands a day now. its not noticable, really, but it won't be too long before there are too many strands to pull out and i just have to suck it up and get it dyed. but what the hell?!!? i just turned 18!! :mean:

But going grey sucks :\ Okay, i dye my hair anyway but it would be a totally different situation if i HAD to dye it
March 6, 200818 yr I always bring a picture to my hairdresser and tell her that is how I want it exactly, that way they won't misunderstand what I say.
March 6, 200818 yr I always bring a picture to my hairdresser and tell her that is how I want it exactly, that way they won't misunderstand what I say. yeah well i was supposed to bring her a pic of myself with the haircut i wanted to have again..too bad i didn't have enough time to print it :\ but i will learn...
March 6, 200818 yr I know how it feels, Rolle. Happened to me too the other day when my fringe was cut too short and it looked kinda ugly. but hair grows quickly, and you'll get used to it, so don't be upset. :) Chelsea, aww that's terrible (i know this won't make you feel any better)! :( But perhaps your hair will stay brown for a longer time ... you never know. and it might not be genes i guess. it could be stress or something.
March 6, 200818 yr Typical guyness... I actually did read somewhere it was scientifically proven that men are more attracted to women with longer hair.. Oh, I'd disagree. I'm more attracted to shorter hair, tbh. Not like, real short. But short for a girl.
March 7, 200818 yr Oh, I'd disagree. I'm more attracted to shorter hair, tbh. Not like, real short. But short for a girl. Oh do you now. :P Nahhh I kinda figured you did. Haha.
March 7, 200818 yr Author ^Aww well that's nice Jack. If I was a guy I'd say I don't care how long/short the girl's hair is, as long as it suits the specific girl. Some look better with short, some with long.
March 7, 200818 yr Author Oh btw, my hair is getting a lot longer. I think it's grown like an inch since I cut it.

March 7, 200818 yr Chelsea, some of us are blessed with genes that confer hair loss - oh well - I've already surpassed by Uncle's hair loss by 20 years (he went bald at age 20 - a wonderful genetic trait to have...) - so it is "thinning" and is very light blond to begin with - looks funny to see my head in the mirror! But what the heck - there's nothing natural to do about it (yes, there's those goofy hair plugs, and some hair tonics - wonder what else they do to one's health??:dozey:) Grey isn't so bad - at least you can color it, and it isn't falling out any more!! - though I have to wonder if some stress isn't a factor - I know it's somewhat the case with me (more stress = noticeable loss).. One other thing - and this is something I deal with as well - too many high-release carbs (sugars and refined white breadstuffs, cereals, etc.) do a number on the hair follicles. So, if you can cut back on the sugary/starchy carbs, it does help a lot (I have done so, and my hair has been coming out less). Grey is usually from stress hormones, though.. but can have genetic components as it does sound like the case with your hair. I would settle for grey - sure beats what I've got going on up on top!
March 7, 200818 yr Oh btw' date=' my hair is getting a lot longer. I'll try to cut back these sugary things. but i can't live without them :dozey: :bigcry:

March 7, 200818 yr did you ever post a pci with your haircut? :P No she didn't.... We're still waiting for it, Anna.. :sneaky:
