Hello Malaysia!

Featured Replies

I'm going to college next month in Nilai (I assume you don't know that place, pls google if you're free :P)

i got horribly lost in Seremban driving back from Singapore last wk/end & somehow ended up going thru some back roads that led to Nilai to get back onto the highway i was meant to be on.

beware the road signs in Seremban & Nilai! it's really disorientating to follow a sign that points Kuala Lumpur to be straight ahead only to see another sign at the end of the road you were on pointing that Kuala Lumpur is back the way you just came from.

on the flip side, i discovered that there's a "Pumpkin Village" (Kampung Labu) near Nilai & the village's welcome sign actually had a pumpkin on it! & the river that ran thru the village was called Sungai Batang Labu (Pumpkin Branch River)! .......ok, i'm easily amused.

My sister works in Nilai, at the UIA matric centre... :D It's only like 40 mins away from KL.

Meet Uncle Hussain are supposed to be one of the best alt rock/pop bands of the year. Some of their songs are quite good. Lagu Untukmu, their first single is really catchy. ;)

Ooh, a Mei from Malaysia got a question answered by the Oracle. :)

usually by Nilai i know i'm just <1hr away from home. but that day it took me a good 2hrs to get from the Seremban area to KL. so geramzzz... :(

will try checking Meet Uncle Hussain then. *goes to Google them*

well, can try adding the seasoning from the maggi kari with the one from the maggi ayam...but that'll probably be one helluva salty soup + MSG overload. :stunned:

Gosh, I've eaten the tastiest maggi goreng in a mamak stall 4 years ago in Penang.

And it was soooooo sedapppp! *drools* :D

EDIT: Do you mean maggi goreng like the indomie one or the fried maggi in stalls? :P

definitely the fried maggi in mamak stalls! topped with a telur mata kerbau! hehe *drools*

i tried looking for a good one while i was working in Singapore, but somehow they always come out really red...just doesn't taste the same. :(

so whenever i got the chance to come back to KL, the 1st thing i'd want when i arrive is a maggi goreng. :D
