I'm the only person in my family that like asam laksa. I don't really like laksa lemak though :shame:

:P Me too

Some Cantonese phrases, and a handful of Mandarin.

BEIJING, BEIJING, WO AI BEIJING Those were some pretty cool shows at the Olympics. :D

:cheesy: Good to know, I thought I was weird for liking only asam laksa :P

:D mah family's from Malaysia

ah, so that's how you know Cantonese! :D

Wah. Are you a laksa expert? :P

Ah, well laksa johor is indeed weird. It uses spaghetti instead of the usual noodle :uhoh:

this is what happens when you've been working in F&B for 5yrs...you know all kinds of non-sensical details about things like laksa. even if you can't cook a decent meal (i tried to fry chicken yesterday & i stank up the whole flat! :dozey: )

I have Maggi Mi perisa tom yam :dozey:

Maggi Mi perisa kari ayam FTW!!! haha

but i remember i took some Maggi Mi perisa assam laksa to Aussie last time...those were delish!!! *drool* didn't see them around in the supermarket this time tho... :\

I'm going to see The All American Rejects live in concert on the 31st....:uhoh:

It's a free show :P I can't resist

oooh...this is the postponed DiGi event, right?

enjoy! they're goooooooooood. Tyson's got the charm & charisma to work the crowd...even if he looks like such an emo boy, imo. :D

hope the rempits don't spoil it for you...they can be a rather unruly lot with their inconsiderately excessive moshing antics & incestant attempts to push their way to the front. :veryangry2:

RAndom thought: I love satay. I love the original, Malaysian, no-holds-barred-roasted-on-a-spit-outside SATAY. It's the best meat on a stick I've ever tasted. None of that MalAmerican "satay" stuff! It's not real! *kicks*
