They often call sorbetto "gelato" because it's Italian. And I've made sherbet before, and it has milk. But since it is fruit flavoured, it's not as noticeable. Same with fruit flavoured gelato. It's not as easy to tell if it has milk in it.

They don't have as much milk in them. And you can't taste the milk. It's hidden, but it gives it a smoother texture.

Makes sense. Well. In that case, I like ice cream with little milk in it :)
