buy the music books. you can get them on the official site store or amazon.com, local music stores, other online music sites....

Download the GP4 files on that thread and the program can be used for piano tabs also. You can get most of the songs for that program at http://www.mysongbook.com

Hey I'm new here and I got the Guitar Pro and everything set up and I was able to look at a few songs. I downloaded a gp3 version of trouble and it seemed sort of messed up, so I tried to dl http://www.mysongbook.com/tab-tab_download-id_tablature=29028.htm that version and it said I need to upgrade my Guitar Pro software, can someone help me?

Guitar Pro FOUR is available at http://www.coldplay.org ... is that not the version you have since you mentioned gp3?
