My email I got months ago says sometime after the 17th wich was the original release date correct? Now that the release date is 12th for us in the states do you think we will get the CD's sooner than explained? I also got 2 day shipping :)

about the shipping: i pre-ordered the vinyl LP of VLVOD on amazon, which is released on the same day, the 17th. i looked up when it would arrive at my house on standard shipping (because i'm on vacation all next week and am pretty worried that i'll have a melted blob of black plastic on my driveway that was once VLVOD when i return home), and it said the earliest it would get there was the 21st. i don't know if that's helpful or not, but it's what they said for me :smiley:

I was wondering this myself. I was going to order the new album from Amazon, but I think I'll just go to Target or another store on the 17th, rather than risk not getting my copy on the release date.

 

I got lucky with the new Filter album, it came in the mail on the release date. I'm not sure if all Amazon orders are the same, though.

I believe my order confirmation said it would ship on the 17th, which is bullshit, because I thought that Amazon had this reputation of getting you your order on the DAY it comes out, not SHIPPING it that day.

^it all depends what shipping method you choose. i chose the normal, cheapest shipping method, and they said it'll probably get to me on the 21st or so. i don't know if the vinyl LPs are less of a priority than the CDs (they probably are), but i'm almost positive that everything relies on the shipping method :D. you probably either chose a better shipping method than i did, or the CDs are much more of a priority than the LPs.

It was almost going to get here in like August because I ordered it with my Region 1 SPACED box set, and that comes out July 22nd, and I was like shit because I forgot to make separate orders then I had to cancel my order of VLV and because it was over $30 (with the dvds) that made it free shipping but then I couldn't do free shipping anymore but it was okay because I was going to get my album when I'm supposed to weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
