Chris Martin confesses to being a Limp Bizkit fan...

Featured Replies

I couldn't believe it when I read it, in fact, I read over it twice more just to make sure that I hadn't missed anywords like "dislike", "don't" or "abominable". But, after closer inspection, our Chris appears to be quite a Limp Bizkit fan:

This isn't so strange though. Metallica's James Hetfield is said to be a massive follower of Elton John and The Beatles. Meanwhile, Marolyn Manson has said in the past that Oasis' Be Here Now is his favourite album of all time. Just to finish, Megadeth lead singer and guitarist, Dave Mustane, also said in an interview that Crowded House's Don't Dream It's Over is his favourite song of all time.

Artists can be strange and enjoyable like that can't they?

Okay Chris even likes justin timberlake, vampire weekend, arcade fire, bloc party, beatles, micheal jackson, and more are there.

yeah david bowie,johnny cash,bob marley,brian eno.

Hahahaha! Well I have had obsessions with Coldplay and Metallica and Elton John!:P Do you have any idea how many albums Elton John has!!!???:stunned:

But not Bis Limpkit. Not that there is anything wrong with that. They have opened for Metallica before too.

Chris...you're weird!

I don't mind some of their songs. Not a 'fan' but they're not completely offensive to me.

I actually thought Limp Bizkit were ok, I got their fourth album when it came out, Results May Vary which had the Behind Blue Eyes cover on it. The album was apparently unpopular with their fanbase because it dispensed with a lot of the thrash that they were known for in favour of alternative and melodic rock. I quite liked it, it demonstrated the maturity and growth of the band. As for the Faith cover or Rollin', the more aggressive LB tunes drive me up the wall.

But I think the media really contributed to their death or hiatus. A lot of people exaggerated their poorest qualities and enlarged them to make it look as though it defined them as a whole. I'd much sooner buy an album by Limp Bizkit than by Creed *shudders at the thought*
