I know it is a little greedy of me to already want them, but we know there are so many tracks out there that didn't make the album for one reason or another, and I was just curious if there is any news at all about when they may be released. I love the album and have been listening to it since it leaked and bought it on both vinyl and CD today, the transitions between songs are glorious, delicious, and zesty. It was like I was listening to it for the first time again, but this time more orgasmic. But side notes aside, if anyone knows when we might finally hear some to the b-sides or if someone read something about it, it'd be awesome if you could let us know...

I've been wondering this too :) I'd very very interested to hear some of their other experiments that didn't make it to this record...maybe those songs that the band felt were too left field for Coldplay. I believe one track is titled Post Cards.

 

I'm still hanging out for a 2 disc b-sides compilation :D

BTW: Do you think Strawberry Swing was originally called "Now my feet wont touch the ground"? Cuz that lines in it and that song disappeared fast

Yes, yes, and yes! I'd love to hear some b-sides from this album (either that, or a rushed followup album with all the songs that didn't make VLV.)

The one I want to hear the most would have to be "Leftrightleftrightleft". That just sounds like it could be such a cool song.

Poppy fields and rainy day sound interesting to me. I really want to hear them.
