Pictured: Penguin parents patrol hundreds of cheeky chicks

As any parent will know, trying to discipline just one child can prove trying at the best of times.

So imagine how these two King Penguins feel, surrounded by literally hundreds of chicks with no other adults in sight.

 

The brave disciplinarians are standing guard in Right Whale Bay, South Georgia.

Photographer Don Paulson, 60, took these stunning photographs on the remote south Atlantic island last October.

South Georgia is one of the world's most pristine environments and is known for its abundance of wildlife.
