July 2, 200817 yr Hi, i'm maru! I'm from Argentina, but now i live in Japan. So i can't wait to see them on Summer Sonic 08 - Tokyo!!! VIVA LA VIDA! See you ;)
July 2, 200817 yr Hello Maru:bow::rolleyes2:. Wow, that's quite a leap, going from Argentine lands, to the Island nation of Japan! Are you on the island of Hokkaido, Honshu, Kyushu, or Shikoku?:)
July 2, 200817 yr Honshu then it is! The Big Island!! My globe's resolution isn't showing Kanagawa, so I'll need to temporarily check on the net for a map..;) Kata-cana characters - have you mastered them?? They're phonetic foreign words, if I'm not mistaken? One trip to Wiki, and I know more than I need to! Yes, so Kanagawa is a prefecture then?! Tokyo's suburbs?

Kanagawa is prefecture, it's not so far from Tokyo. yes right, Kata-kana is phonetic foreign words. Of course i've mastered them! i've been here for over 10 years! You know much about Japan! :)
July 2, 200817 yr Hello, Lovers In Japan!!! :D Kanagawa? That's where Japanese tennis star Ai Sugiyama live, right?? :wink2: :P
July 2, 200817 yr I know something about Japan - but not everything by far! Japan always looks like such a neat place - the beautiful gardens, so perfectly maintained, Bonsai, fine arts, traditional pottery on Hokkaido, the steel making for the swords, and the incredible technological success of the Japanese people has always amazed me! Sounds like a friendly, busy place to be. 10 years - you must almost feel Japanese in your state of mind then? Have you been to the Western side, where it's all forested? Leaping from Spanish to English, or Spanish to even German is not too hard to do, but Japanese is a whole different state of mind to get into.. I can only imagine what that must be like!:) Congratulations on bridging that chasm!! A prefecture is like a county in English or American terms? Or, more like a borough?
