  1. Hiiiiiiiii Christa! Merry Christmas to you too!!
  2. I haven't posted in a long, long time but I just had to come and say how happy I am for Thalia!! I've known her a long time and to see her get the opportunity to interview Guy and Will makes me so so happy! :D
  3. What a fantastic story! Especially love that pic with Will and Jonny. They are so lovely :nice:
  4. Hey Christa!! I'm good! I still check in now and again. With Chrissy pics like these recent ones how could I stay away?? :D
  5. Maybe he really just had to go and get a license for what is in his pants :bomb: :escaping:
  6. Yes! That's what it was reminding me of!! Thank you. The track is good. I'll be eager to listen to a better quality version. My favorite part is when Jonny's guitar comes in near the end - it's just lovely. Rating: 8/10
  7.
  8. My DVD finally showed up yesterday. The film is beautiful. My favorite bits were the intermissions - they didn't last long enough though. The film made me proud and happy to be a fan. As I watched I began to feel sad and nostalgic. I wouldn't change a thing but I found myself really missing the excitement of queuing all day with friends for front row or of waiting outside a venue with hopes of meeting them (which we did a few times!). Ah the good old days.
  9. Happy birthday, Jonny!! Have some cake :D
  10. Why is he so pretty??? :bigcry: Whyyyyyyy???? :bigcry: :bomb:
  11. Well, taking care of a 5 month old really eats into a person's free time;)
  12. Chris has SOME common sense not to shout out One Direction when it's on an international scale :laugh3: (My six year old loves that song they sing and sadly I catch myself singing it sometimes...that's what makes you beautiful...alright going to go sit in the corner now :shame:)
  13. Think it was something along the lines of wanting another generation to reach the top.
  14. I just watched the closing ceremony. Wow. Just wow. It was an amazing performance. Jealous of all who were lucky enough to be in that stadium last night. Loved 42, Strawberry Swing, The Scientist, and Charlie Brown the most. And I feel compelled to say I actually enjoyed the POC performance - Chris and Rhianna have such an incredible chemistry together on stage. Very proud of our boys. No one could have done that closing better.
  15. That's a beautiful review right there. Very nice
  16. Thanks guys :D I know :wreck: Soon she'll be asking me if she can borrow the car!
  17. 10th time seeing them live and somehow I ended up as far away as I've ever been at a show. Of course it doesn't help that my first ever live experience was seeing them from about 5 feet away at the Today Show in 2008. I think I've been kind of spoiled since then :P This show was also different in that instead of going with fellow Coldplayers I was there with my 6 year old daughter, which obviously made the experience altogether different. When I was at shows with fellow Coldplayers I was mainly interested in just having fun and singing along, getting vids and pics since I was ridiculously close. Going with my daughter rearranged my priorities - making sure her xyloband was on tight enough, making sure she could see and have fun, and constantly checking to make sure the coke hadn't been knocked over. It still was really fun though. We glammed up her old Coldplay shirt and made a poster with LED lights on it. We busted out the glow bracelets while listening to the songs before the start. I'd totally forgotten about 99 Problems...not the best song for a 6 year old!! Whoops! When the lights went out and Back to the Future started the crowd went crazy. And I'll admit that as Hurts Like Heaven began I couldn't stop myself from tearing up. I'll blame it on my 10 week old son and the accompanying hormones! Anyway I'm not going to rehash the whole show. There's better reviews out there than what I could write up. Highlights for me: - the opening notes of HLH - tears and goosebumps - GPASUYF - that version is awesome and Jonny was going bonkers on the catwalk. He's come a long way from just standing in the shadows! - Viva singalong sounded pretty spectacular from where I was sitting - hearing Warning Sign...shamefully it took me a few notes to realize that's what it was! - major highlight - UATW after Chris fucked it up - Will and Chris going totally a Capella - goosebumps - just lovely - absolute best moment - Charlie Brown - the xylobands, the song, the lightshow. Crowd went wild - finally got everyone up out of their seats. A truly awesome spectacle. Everyone should experience that once. ETIAW ended and the lights came up and sadly the magic started to fade away. It came back a little this morning though when my daughter told me that even when she was 25 she'd always remember yesterday as the greatest day. Crappy arena food - $14 Concert tickets - hundreds of dollars The look of joy on my daughters face when her pink xyloband started flashing- priceless At the concert Our view Glammed up shirt Poster - my daughter said that's what it had to say and then I added the LED lights :D
  18. Great night in Tampa. Proper review is coming, Jen! :D
  19. Don't let Jackie know!!! You're violating the restraining order!! :P Chris looks hot!!! No seriously he looks like he's melting in the Texas sun :P
  20. Mine are up there too. Glad they have the big screens!:P
  21. Why is there no squeeing going on in this thread damn it!! :P Angie, too much awesomeness going on last night! And just think back to Orlando when we asked Jackie her name and she smart mouthed us with "I don't have a name" Seems like aaaaaages ago that happened. Hope she can sort out the meet and greet for you! Oh yeah almost forgot... squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :D
  22. :bomb: Jen and Ian! So awesome that you all got this opportunity! Can't wait to see some pics :D
