All Things Must Pass

Featured Replies

Has anyone listened to this George Harrison album? It's brilliant, what a fantastic album this is. "Isn't It A Pity" is such a beautiful song, and I think Chris Martin said that "The Scientist" is based on it. Anyway, I can't stop listening to this album, what are your thoughts?

Definitely George's masterpiece, which was only his natural musical evolution after composing Here comes the Sun and Something, the best tracks on Abbey Road... most of the tracks on All Things Must Pass were composed on the final Beatles' era, and I can't believe none of them are in Abbey Road, when theyre obviously better than almost every song in there... but yeah, it's really a great record... My Sweet Lord, What Is Life?, I'd Have You Anytime are my favourite tracks...

just an interesting fact: Harrison was sued by another band for the plagiarism of a song called "He's So Fine" on "My Sweet Lord" you can listen here:

George is my all-time hero, but I haven't yet ever listened to this full album :embarassed:

I shall do so very soon, and come back and post my thoughts, and thus redeem myself lol :)

Best George album ! Simply amazing. George was the best :)

Amazing Album! , great "Wall of Sound" production from Spector as well , it really is a pity that so many of George's songs were rejected by Macca/Lennon , but we still have this great album as a testament to his wonderful songwriting...

the wall of sound does add a uniqueness to it, but it can be irritating after awhile... almost ruins some of the songs
