I want to go on vacation. =[

 

What should I do?

 

If I miss vacation, I miss seeing my cousin and his wife who are both in the military. I also run the risk of never going on vacation with my great-grandmother again.

 

If I miss band camp, there is no possible way I'll know my drill for the show. I'll have to be a flag runner or something.

I'm just going to e-mail the band director and explain it, and instead of just quitting to avoid picking up flags during the show, I'll just help around the band room as much as possible, I guess. :(

I'm not really going to apologize, she really understood my problem and was very nice about it. I was really surprised at how she took it.
