Is anyone watching this????? I looooooooooooooooooooove this show to death, but this season so far is disappointing me. Maybe it's just too early into the new season to tell, but so far I'm not fond of the winning designs.

She began her career in fashion at the age of 16, when she started buying vintage clothing and reconstructing them for herself and friends. After graduating from Florida State University with a marketing degree, Kenley found herself in New York City and got a sales job at Missy Wear. It didn't take longer than a week for her to be promoted to a design position where she was able to blossom in the industry. Since then, she has been working on her own line in a small boutique, her Web site and has begun freelancing and teaching in her spare time.

 

 

I love Kenley's adorable, almost vintage-inspired designs. Plus, I think she's got amazing style. :nice:

 

 

 

Jennifer

 

Age: 27

Favorite designers: Schiaparelli, Moschino and Cynthia Rowley

Fashion must: A go-to party dress

Biography:

Jennifer was born and raised in Syracuse, NY and after visiting New York City for the first time as a young child, she decided she desperately wanted to be a fashion designer. After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology, she moved to Italy to pursue her dream. In Italy, she has worked as an embroidery designer for top European design house Blumarine. Color, art and Audrey Hepburn are among her greatest inspirations and she says her design theory is Holly Golightly attends a Salvador Dali exhibit.

 

To be honest, her designs so far on the show haven't been outstanding enough to be top-3 material, but I really do like her aesthetic, looking at her portfolio. :)

 

 

 

Wesley

 

Age: 23

Home: Blackstone, Massachusetts

Education: Fashion Institute of Technology

Favorite designers: Jeanne Lanvin, Marc Jacobs, and Cristobal Balenciaga

Fashion must: Big old sunglasses

Biography:

Wesley began making his own clothes in middle school and was paid by other students to do the same for them. He then went on to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology for four years. During his time there, he interned at Marc by Marc Jacobs, Marc Jacobs, and Levi Group Inc., where he was able to learn the ins and outs of the industry. He considers himself to be poised, polished and professional and his design style to be clean, classic, and sophisticated.

 

I like his design style, and I thought that yellow dress he made in the first episode was very cute. (He's kinda cute himself, but you didn't see this. Yes, I know he's gay.)

 

I'm still sad that he was auf'd. :cry: Dumbass model can't pick fabric for shit!!!! >__<

i agree annie, they haven't been living up to past seasons. like season 4 and 3. they were the bestest designers. :P

I loooove Kenley! She is just so awesome, and her style is killer. :D

 

Yeah, I had a little gay crush on Wesley....:sad: Damn it, it always happens to me! Falling for the gay guy (like Daniel V. from Season 2...) Wesley is actually dating Daniel from this season, believe it or not! I know, gay AND dating... :disappointed: Damn.

 

I thought Korto should have went home. Her's was just so blah. I want Wesley back!!! He has such talent, and was never given a chance.
