in my mind there are 2 things that are indispensable for a scarie movie, the imagination and the music. If you look at Hitchcock's movies (can't remember how to spell his name :stunned: ) without the sound this is absolutly not scary

I can't come up with a good idea right now. It's hard for me to come up with a good story idea when I'm in Toronto, there are so many distractions in the city. I work better when at the cottage.

 

But my crappy idea is this person who grew up as an orphan, and doesn't know who his parents are, and how one day in high school, he is writing an exam, when suddenly, he hears sounds coming from inside his head, he hears something that sounds like coded messages being sent back and forth, and somehow, he figures out what they mean. Something like "....take care of the larger populations centers first, the remaining humans will be more easily controllable...." and it turns into an X-Files sort of thing.

 

but that's not the idea I'm using ahahaha

um....i guess the angle of the camera really affects how I think a movie is scary or not.
