I just came back from the show- I am still in a daze... Coldplay was amazing!

 

I'm really speechless at the moment. It's late, and I was standing for more than 6 hours, but it was brilliant all worth it. Maybe I'll have a clearer head tomorrow. But I thought I would just post some stuff before I go to bed, so you peeps can see!

 

I'm gonna break it into a few posts, so it's not one long thing, maybe it will make more sense... :)

pics?

Well, I was very lucky cos:

 

1) I got there quite early when they were starting to do sound check. I stood at the doorway where the staff were still moving things in & out. I knew Chris was already in there cos I could hear him singing. Guess who were coming in? Guy & Will! Well, I was standing at the one side of a set of double doors, and first Guy went by. He was being his shy self- I was thinking of you Ginger. Then Will came by to enter the place- he smiled at me! ;) It was lovely. I was the only fan there! Others were at the main door.

 

2) I pretty much stood there the whole time they were doing sound check. I could hear it very clearly when the doors were opened. Even the door got shut eventually, I could still hear it pretty good thru the walls.

 

3) They were supposed to go to a radio station after the sound check. Me and 2 other girls waited at the back door for them to finish hoping to just catch a glimse of them. So eventually Jonny and Chris came out! :shock: I was like OMG! Is this real life? They were about to get into a car. This girl asked if we could get photos. So here I was, got a photo with Chris & Jonny and that girl!!!! I still can't believe it! They were so nice!

The show itself was brilliant! Beyound words! It was a very small venue, and I was able to get the pretty much at the middle and very close.

 

Guy was right in front of me (Ginger!) about 5 ft away I guess??

 

They didn't do any new songs. I can't think straight now, so I have to think of the setlist. The only B side they did was The One I Love.

 

The most special thing was Chris did Green Eyes acoustic!!!!

Ok, after the show- I was told that they stayed and signed a bunch of autographs last time. So I waited at the backdoor again, this time of course there were a lot more people.

 

I was hoping they would stay, and I actually really just wanted to tell them Coldplaying.com would like to say hello. But they just got into the van, and I saw them off. :sad:

 

Well, I know they must be tired... I can understand. ;) I'm just still in a daze of how great the show was, and how unreal it was to be right next to someone I see in photos everyday... :shock:

Random things I've noticed by standing so close:

 

1) Chris was wearing new Timberland grey trainers/ sneakers

 

2) Guy wears a gold ring on his left hand middle finger

 

3) Chris was wearing his Make Trade Fair T-shirt, and a long sleeve white shirt under it. Both shirts were kinda torn at the botton and at the sleeves

 

4) Will was behind Guy at the back and behind the drums, couldn't see him as well. :sad:

 

5) Jonny was on the other side, so I didn't see him as well as others. :?

 

6) Chris sweated so much! It was literally drops after drops. I thought he was gonna get electrocuted!

 

7) Some stupid girl all dressed up with heavy makeup kept asking Chris to kiss him. Chris said sorry no kisses! 8)

 

Sorry I couldn't take pics inside. I hope I've painted some kind of a mental picture... Might think of more tomorrow... ;)

i've seen guy with that ring in a lot of pics.

 

well thats cool you noticed so many things, and that you were close enough to be able to see them!

I hope you won't fall in a black hole now cause it's over... That happened to me after the Berlin show! :sad: I mean, I had been looking forward to the concert for three months and then - BOOM - suddenly it was over! Just like that... :shock:

I'm still recovering from it...

From the shock of how great it was, how close I was, and I got to be close to them in real life...

And probably from standing for more than 6 hours and didn't eat or drink much of anything... :? But it was more than alright.

 

No, I'm not gonna fall into a back hole. I'm now anxious to find out about their May/ June date! I'm definitely flying somewhere to see them even if they won't come back here then!! :D
