The Scientist BBC 2

Featured Replies

Hello! Could please anyone help me. this is the best version of the scientist i've ever heard. Cause of the extra chords chris plays at the end, up from 3:26 you hear it then. What are the chords or the keys he plays here ? Could anyone help me please or have an idea?[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfJQCC4tydc]YouTube - COLDPLAY- The Scientist (BBC 2 SHOW)[/ame]

A wild guess: He play's a pianoversion of johnny's guitarpart, just an octave or two higher..

Yes, that could be, but when it is so, what piano keys have i to push there?

Just check out johnny's guitarpart in Kapone's tab and translate it

Oh that would be great! Have you looked the video? You know what part i mean chris plays?

well,

i can play the scientist on piano (which isnt so difficult). so i know how the electric part should sound like on piano (according to the official pvg), and it is quite similar. the rush of blood to the head book is somewhere in the instrumental room on the coldplaying.com forum. just look for it, download is, learn it and correct it a bit if you think it is necessary.

Please explain what keys you use for the electric part. i can only play the scientist in the normal version. And what is with the book?

The book is here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/17284q

Or you could just use the guitar chord boxes and play those on piano. If you don't know how to do that just google the chord names wtih "piano" at the end. 8notes.com has good guides on that.

I think at least some of the confusion people seem to be having with this one stems from the fact that Jon using an electric guitar for the part he normally plays acoustic, puts the opening guitar bits higher in the mix than usual.

I don't know how to play it. Please explain. I can play the normal version but not like this at the end.

Could anyone say exactly what chords chris plays here at the e-guitar part in the end?
